Abstract:
A reflecting material for antennas containing a three-axis woven fabric usable for high frequency band ranging from 20 to 60 ÄGHzÜ. A reflecting material (1) for high-frequency band is fabricated by adjusting the weave density n, volume resistivity rho and denier eta of the three-axis woven fabric (2), without marring the merits of the three-axis woven fabric (2). In particular, parameters are set according to the composite model reflection factor GAMMA , which is the sum of a first reflection factor GAMMA s based on the surface resistance of the three-axis woven fabric and a second reflection factor GAMMA p based on the aperture portion of the three-axis woven fabric. It is preferable that the weave density n is about 5 to 28 Äyarns/inÜ, the denier eta is about 10 to 460 tex (g/1000 m), and the volume resistivity rho is about 0.7 to 2.0 x 10<-3> Ä OMEGA .cmÜ.
