Abstract:
To provide easy to drink packaged beverage, containing fermented vegetable juice, fermented soymilk and γ-aminobutyric acid, suppressed of green smell, harsh taste, bitter taste, acid taste, astringent taste and earthy smell, and having regulating actions for intestinal functions.
The packaged beverage has 35-100 mg/100g of γ-aminobutyric acid in the beverage and is obtained by fermenting using lactic acid bacteria as a starter and is markedly improved of the unpleasant flavors of vegetable juices and soymilk, and has regulating action for intestinal functions, in addition to the intrinsic richness of flavor and deliciousness which the raw materials have.
