To photopolymerize and cure a dental photo-curable composition with light focused on such a region or depth that the light can not reach and a region where the optical strength is required without attenuating the light till the light reaches a target region by combining the dental photo-curable composition with a fiber post including optical fibers whose irradiation regions are not limited.
The fiber post including optical fiber has the optical fibers transmitting the light which are disposed approximately at the center of the fiber post, and inorganic and/or organic fibers disposed parallel are integrated with the optical fibers. The fiber post transmits at least the light of 350-520 nm wavelength. The light is emitted from a light emission part as the light source with the output of 10-10,000 mW, or more preferably, 100-6,000 mW. As the light source, such light sources as applied in the dentistry, for example, a halogen lamp, a xenon lamp, or a light emitting diode lamp, can be used.
