The original image 200 is segmented in accordance with the size of the screen of a portable telephone set 3 so as to include a key area 210 designated by a distributor with respect to the optional area of the original area 200, and the image of the segmented area is distributed to the portable telephone set 3 from an image distributing device 2 to thereby to distribute an image in appropriate size corresponding to the size of the screen of the portable telephone set 3 while leaving the significant area of the original image 200 even when the aspect ratio of the original image 200 is different from that of the screen of the portable telephone set 3.
