A master measuring device 2 computes the time difference between a master time and a slave time on the basis of a slave time and a master time at a prescribed timing and outputs time difference data Dma indicating the computed time difference to a slave measuring device 3. On the basis of the time difference data Dma output from the master measuring device 2, the slave measuring device 3 shortens a time measurement unit when the slave time is delayed with respect to the master time and extends the time measurement unit when the slave time is advanced with respect to the master time.
