To provide a periodic timer with an automatic correcting function for avoiding such a situation that any deviation that may be generated in a periodic timing due to the clock accuracy error of an oscillator in a component configured to perform a periodic operation synchronizing with a reference timing to be distributed to the inside of a satellite among components mounted on satellites.
An interval of a reference timing is counted by an internal clock, and the periodic timing of a component is generated in accordance with a count value. A user preliminarily gives the setting of the periodic timing with the value of the power of 2 as a "number of partitions with respect to the reference timing," and the count value of the interval of the reference timing is bit-shifted in accordance with the number of partitions to calculate the count value of a periodic timer, and thereby generating the periodic timing.
