Abstract:
To provide a voice input device which eliminates the need for depressing an utterance switch which imposes a burden on a user, and has a high voice recognition accuracy also in a cruising car.
The invention relates to the method for detecting by, for example, a navigation device or the like that a geographical relation between a POI noticed by a user and a present location becomes closer to each other, for setting the timing for utterance when an information acquiring operation about this POI is performed by voice, and also for predicting vocabulary for utterance. This eliminates the need for depressing the utterance switch and provides a voice input device having a high recognition accuracy.
