Then, in the case coupling procedure, the motor case 50 is coupled with the case 40 of the transmission AT. Moreover, in the stator cover fixing procedure, a stator cover 37, which has the stator 36, is inserted into the motor case 50 from the open end 50b of the motor case 50, and is fixed to this motor case 50. Moreover, in the rotor attaching procedure, a rotor shaft 31, to which the rotor 30 is fixed, is coupled by spline to the input shaft Input of the transmission, and the rotor 30 is inserted from the open end 50b of the motor case 50 into the space surrounded by the stator 36, accompanying this spline coupling.
