Abstract:
Eye-surgery microscopy system has a background illumination arrangement that is used to generate a red reflex reaction during the surgical intervention. The background illumination arrangement (35b) for background illumination of the object plane (7b) generates an illumination beam (43b) whose wavelength is greater than 540 nm and essentially greater than 600 nm. The invention also relates to a method for producing background illumination generating method.
