Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a plastic magnet having different directions and strength of magnetic force depending on a part, or having magnetic force only at a specific portion.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for plastic magnet comprises a plurality of temperature control means (15, 16) in metal molds (6, 7) so as to adjust temperature of a cavity (c) at each part thereof. Resin mixed with magnet powder is ejected toward the clamped metal mold (6, 7), and an electric current flows to a coil (10) so that a magnetic field is generated, and then the magnet powder in the resin is oriented. Only a top half of the cavity (c) is cooled to be solidified, and the magnet powder is fixed. Then, a direction of the flowing current in the coil (10) is reversed so that a direction of the magnetic force in the magnetic field is reversed. The resin in a bottom half of the cavity (c) is in a melting condition so that the magnet powder therein is oriented. The bottom half of the cavity (c) is also cooled to be solidified. Accordingly, a plastic magnet (c) with different directions of magnet force depending on a part can be obtained.
