Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system offering high long-term reliability.SOLUTION: The fuel cell system comprises a fuel cell module 1 supplied with a fuel gas and emitting an exhaust gas containing the portion of the fuel gas not used for power generation and water vapor, a condensing unit 5 condensing the water vapor in the exhaust gas by exchanging heat with a coolant to produce condensed water, a reforming unit 4 producing the fuel gas from a raw fuel supplied from the outside and the condensed water, a water-measuring unit 12 measuring the amount of the condensed water, and a controlling unit 9 controlling the amount of the coolant supplied to the condensing unit 5 according to the water amount measured by the water-measuring unit 12. Therefore, shortages of the condensed water supplied to the reforming unit 4 can be prevented, and the fuel cell system can offer high long-term reliability.
