Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network relay system capable of switching communication paths when a failure occurs.SOLUTION: A network relay system 10 has a plurality of IFSs 14 and a plurality of FSs 16, and IFS 14a-14x and FS 16a-16h are mutually connected with a physical line. In the IFS 14, a LAG is set to a port to which the FS 16 is connected. IFS 14 and FS 16 transmit/receive a detection frame mutually, and determines a failure occurs in the network relay system 10 when they cannot receive the detection frame. When it is determined that the failure occurs, the FS 16 transmits a failure notification frame to the plurality of IFSs 14, and the plurality of IFSs 14 exclude the ports which receive the failure notification frame, from the LAG, respectively.
