Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that correction errors are accumulated between camera groups and that precision is deteriorated if an external parameter of a camera is corrected at every group of cameras when a position of a mobile object is detected in a camera system where the plurality of cameras are arranged.SOLUTION: A position and a posture of each camera in a cluster coordinate system which is set by using a common visual field are obtained at every cluster. A cluster processing section 2 calculates an object position in a local coordinate system from an image of a plurality of cameras for each cluster. An integration processing section 3 sets an integration coordinate system obtained by adjusting mutual arrangement relation of the cluster coordinate system by giving a prescribed error between the adjacent clusters on the positions and the postures of the common cameras, and the object position in the cluster coordinate system is converted into the integration coordinate system.
