Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion control device capable of reducing unburned HC and CO.SOLUTION: A combustion control device 35 includes an injector 9 for injecting a fuel into a combustion chamber, an injection amount/injection timing determination portion 32 for determining an injection timing of a first fuel injection, and an injection timing of a second fuel injection executed after the first fuel injection, and an injector control portion 33 controlling the injector 9 to implement the first fuel injection and the second fuel injection according to the injection timings determined by the injection amount/injection timing determination portion 32. The injection amount/injection timing determination portion 32 determines a timing between a timing when a spray center of the fuel injected from the injector 9 before a piston reaches a compression top dead center, is positioned on an upper end of a lip portion, and a timing when the spray center of the fuel injected from the injector 9 before the piston reaches the compression top dead center, is positioned at a lower end of the lip portion, as an injection start timing of the first fuel injection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
