PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause transmission rollers to be automatically pressed against a wheel so that the wheel is reliably driven.SOLUTION: A wheel drive device 200 includes a drive shaft 204 rotatably driven by a drive source such as a motor provided in a drive unit (10) for example, and transmission rollers 206a and 206b that follow the drive shaft through a first toothed gear (210) and second toothed gears (212a and 212b), and causes the outer peripheral surface of the transmission rollers to contact the outer periphery of a wheel 132.
