Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material having high photoelectric conversion efficiency retention rate at both room temperature (25°C, etc.) and high temperature (85°C, etc.) while having excellent photoelectric conversion efficiency, and a photoelectric conversion device using the material, and to provide a photoelectric conversion device that enables easy production, particularly for a light absorption layer, without relying only on film formation by a vacuum process.SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion device includes a light absorption layer containing a compound represented by general formula (1): (HOOCRNH)APbX(wherein R is a hydrocarbon group; A is K, Rb, Cs, or Fr; X is a halogen atom; x is not less than 0.01 and less than 1).
