Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quality measurement system with on-line precision confirmation method and correction method in which economical effect is high and a long-length material is stabilized, where a flow direction component and a width direction component are separated to measure the quality of a paper web, in which the conventional basis weight meter and ash content meter using conventional radiation rays and X rays are eliminated and it is possible to apply from a small low speed paper machine to a large high speed paper machine in a non-scan-non-filtering system.SOLUTION: Provided is a quality measurement method for a long-length sheet material w where the cellulose fiber, moisture and ash or the like of a paper web w are measured by area cameras 1102 to 1106 having infrared light receiving elements and a light source 1100 having infrared light emitting elements. By the conformity of the same point measured value by the cameras adjacent to an overlapping area and a sample 1107 for comparison at off sheet positions arranged at both the edges, the performance confirmation of the infrared cameras 1102 to 1106 over the whole width and the correction of the measured value are performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
