Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactive concentration measurement device capable of accurately measuring the radioactive concentration of a radionuclide in a short time.SOLUTION: A radioactive concentration measurement device includes: a radiation detector 13 arranged substantially in the center within a radioactive measuring part 12; storage means 31 for storing a response function for a radioactive nuclide calculated in advance; and radioactive concentration calculation means 30 for calculating a radioactive concentration of the radioactive nuclide from a detected γ-ray spectrum. D (the minimum distance between the inner wall surface of the radioactive measurement part and the radioactive detector)>L (the shielding distance by the self-shield effect of an amount of radiation from the radioactive nuclide in a measurement specimen) is satisfied, and the radioactive concentration calculation means 30 calculates the radioactive concentration by applying curve approximation to the detected γ-ray spectrum using a response function of the radioactive nuclide stored in the storage means 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
