Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable storing operation using an automatic guided vehicle at low cost.SOLUTION: A management method for an automatic warehouse system comprises the steps of: extracting an optical symbol attached to an article, contained in a first photographed image photographed in a first area where positions in the area are not managed; acquiring identification information included in the extracted optical symbol, and position information indicating a position of the article in the first area, on the basis of the first photographed image and the optical image; managing the position information acquired from the first photographed image in association with the identification information; and moving an article corresponding to specified information, in response to the specification to at least one of the position information acquired from the first photographed image and the identification information, using a transfer device, to a predetermined position in a second area where positions in the area are managed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
