Abstract:
To make a diagnosis further accurately.SOLUTION: A cross-section acquisition unit acquires a plurality of cross-sectional images by setting a plurality of cross-sections for a pixel block including a predetermined cellular tissue in a three-dimensional image of a human body. An evaluation value acquisition unit acquires an evaluation value representing likelihood of a lesion of the predetermined cellular tissue. An output control unit specifies a first cross-sectional image having the highest likelihood of a lesion with the highest evaluation value and at least one second cross-sectional image with a different evaluation value from that of the first cross-sectional image and controls output of the first cross-sectional image and the second cross-sectional image. This technique can be applied to an image processing device which displays a pathological image, for example.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
