Abstract:
To prevent or suppress occurrence of a striking sound at the time of flip-up of a seat body, and to stabilize a standing position of the seat body, thereby improving an appearance and safety.SOLUTION: In this vehicle seat, when a seat body is flipped up and stands up with respect to a vehicle floor, a forward end 40U1 of an upper wall 40U of an upper hinge 40 is brought into contact with a rubber element 70 before the seat body arrives at a standing position, whereby the rubber element 70 is elastically deformed. Thus, arrival of the seat body at the standing position is permitted, and although the forward end 40U1 is brought into contact with a tumble stopper 60, an impact at contact time is alleviated by the afore-said elastic deformation, and therefore, occurrence of a striking sound is prevented or suppressed. Further, the forward end 40U1 is brought into contact with the tumble stopper 60 in a state where the seat body arrives at the standing position, and therefore, standing of the seat body is stabilized. Further, the tumble stopper 60 and the rubber element 70 are fixed to a lower hinge 22, and therefore, an appearance and safety are improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
