Abstract:
To provide a technology capable of reducing processing load in an optical receiver.SOLUTION: An optical receiver of a mode multiplexing optical communication system, includes: processing means for obtaining an inverse matrix of a channel matrix of the mode multiplexing optical communication system; and detection means for detecting the number of modes used in the mode multiplexing optical communication system.
