Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire hydrant storage box for, even when a nozzle is removably locked to a back side of an upper door, preventing an attitude of the nozzle with respect to opening of the upper door from being changed and preventing the upper door from getting heavy.SOLUTION: A fire hydrant storage box is installed with it buried in a watchman's passage along a tunnel wall surface, and a hose 76 with a foam nozzle 78 is stored in the inside thereof. A front door 32 is disposed at a front door opening 33 of a housing 31 in a road side so as to be slidingly opened/closed freely. A first upper door 34 is journaled to an upper door opening 35 of the housing 31 in the watchman's passage side so as to be freely opened rearward with a hinge 46 of a front edge corner part of the housing 31 used as a shaft. A second upper door 36 is journaled to a second upper door opening 37 of the first upper door 34 so as to be freely opened forward with a hinge 42 used as a shaft. The foam nozzle 78 provided at a tip of the hose 76 is removably locked by a chuck pawl 92 of a nozzle holder 86A that is swingably suspended from the back side of the second upper door 36.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
