Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cam system and a flat-knitting machine that makes quality of a knitting fabric difficult to be decreased even if inversion plaiting knitting is performed.SOLUTION: A cam system 10 comprises a sub-route cam 13, which allows a normal plaiting knitting and an inversion plaiting knitting to be switched, and a route change presser 16. When the normal plaiting knitting is performed by the flat-knitting machine 1, making the route change presser 16 act on a selection butt 32b prevents a knitting butt 31b from contacting with a second descent slant 13s of the sub-route cam 13. When the inversion plaiting knitting is performed by the flat-knitting machine 1, preventing the route change presser 16 from acting on the selection butt 32b causes the knitting butt 31b to move down along the second descent slant 13s.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
