Abstract:
To determine authenticity of a certificate image more accurately.SOLUTION: There is provided an authenticity determination method that causes a computer to perform the processing including: obtaining an image of a certificate to be subjected to authenticity determination; using a mask image for leaving a first part in which information about an issuer is described and for at least hiding a second part with content that differs for each certificated person to generate an image for determination by masking the obtained image of the certificate; referring to a storage unit that stores an image group obtained by masking a sample image for the certificate prepared in advance with the mask image; and determining authenticity of the obtained image of the certificate based on a comparison result between each image of the image group and the image for determination.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
