Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas detection device which is designed to be used in a high-humidity environment, such as a cookroom and kitchen, and is superior in terms of sensitivity as well as humidity resistance.SOLUTION: A gas detection device has a thin-film gas sensor provided on a substrate, the gas sensor comprising a heater section, gas detection section, and a catalytic section, and is configured to energize the heater section to heat the gas detection section and the catalytic section and detect a detection target gas. The gas detection device employs a gas sensor having a catalytic section comprising a catalytic metal principally made of platinum supported by a carrier principally made of a transition metal oxide.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
