PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding carriage capable of improving a welding quality in butt welding time, and providing excellent padding in multilayer padding welding time.SOLUTION: A welding carriage comprises a carriage body 3 for traveling by mounting a welding torch T, a torch support part 6 arranged in the carriage body 3 and supporting the welding torch T, a torch angle variable mechanism 20 for changing an angle of the welding torch T supported by the torch support part 6, a weaving mechanism 30 for making the welding torch T execute weaving operation and a control part 10 for controlling the torch angle variable mechanism 20 and the weaving mechanism 30, and the control part 10 operates the torch angle variable mechanism 20 for setting a welding speed to a desired speed by moving the tip Ta of the welding torch T to the carriage body 3 in response to a change in a travel speed of the carriage body 3 in butt welding time, and operates the torch angle variable mechanism 20 and the weaving mechanism 30 for changing the angle of the welding torch T while turning the tip Ta of the welding torch T to a groove WK in padding time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
