Abstract:
The invention relates to a bill processing unit, a bill processing method, and a bill processing program using a bill storage cassette that stores a bill and is detachable from a main body for detecting the discrepancy of a bill storage cassette. The bill processing unit has a plurality of storage spaces in which the bill storage cassettes are detachably formed, and comprises a storage part for storing cassette-related information associated with each of the plurality of storage spaces; a detection part for detecting that the bill storage cassettes are attached and detached for each storage space; an acquisition unit for, when the detection part detects that the bill storage cassettes are mounted in the storage space, acquiring the cassette information of the bill storage cassettes; a judging part which collates cassette information with cassette-related information and judges whether or not it is proper; and a notifying part which gives notification when the cassette information and the cassette-related information are judged not to be proper.
