Abstract:
To provide a method of manufacturing a power storage device allowing for improvement of the quality of the power storage device.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a power storage device 1 comprises a cutting step S14 of cutting at least a part of the outer peripheral edge of an expansion sealing body 50 after a fusion bonding step S13. In this case, an expansion portion 50a that is the outer peripheral edge of the expansion sealing body 50 is cut while the expansion sealing body 50 is fusion-bonded to an electrode plate 15 by fusion bonding. That is, an expansion portion 50a of the expansion sealing body 50 is cut while the expansion portion 50a is positioned with respect to the electrode plate 15, so that a primary sealing body 21 having an outer peripheral edge 21a having a desired shape can be formed. Furthermore, the uncut expansion sealing body 50 is configured to be wider than the cut final primary sealing body 21 by an amount corresponding to the cutting allowance. That is, the rigidity of the uncut expansion sealing body 50 can be increased. For this reason, deformation of the expansion sealing body 50 can be suppressed, and accordingly deformation of an inner peripheral edge 21b can also be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
