Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of negative electrode capable of manufacturing a negative electrode having a more uniform coating surface.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of negative electrode includes a transfer step of transferring negative electrode composite material paste to a current collector foil S, and a coating step of coating a negative electrode composite material layer N, transferred onto the current collector foil S in the transfer step, with paste containing insulation particles by using a gravure roll 11. Multiple recesses 11A and multiple protrusions 11B are provided on the surface of the gravure roll 11, the top face of the protrusion 11B is a flat surface, the area of the top face of the protrusion 11B is 40000 μmor more per the area 302500 μm(550 μm×550 μm) of the surface of the gravure roll 11, and a duct 11C connecting the adjoining recesses 11A is formed between the adjoining protrusions 11B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
