Abstract:
To provide a particle image pickup method for visualizing a sound field through PIV without using a high-speed camera, and a flow velocity distribution creation method.SOLUTION: A particle velocity distribution creation method (S20) includes the steps of: obtaining a flow velocity distribution (S22); obtaining a pseudo particle velocity distribution (S24); and obtaining a particle velocity distribution (S26). In the step of obtaining the flow velocity distribution (S22), the flow velocity distribution is obtained according to a particle image flow velocity measurement method using particle images on the two times. In the step of obtaining the pseudo particle velocity distribution (S24), the pseudo particle velocity distribution consisting of a vibration component in a frequency fA is obtained by removing a DC component caused by an air flow by performing Fourier transform on the flow velocity distribution on the time base. In the step of obtaining the particle velocity distribution (S26), the particle velocity distribution is obtained by multiplying a pseudo particle velocity in the pseudo particle velocity distribution by fS/fA.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
