To provide a device, a method, and a program for preventing erroneous transmission that can prevent erroneous transmission when transmitting a message containing storage location information of electronic data.SOLUTION: When predetermined link information is included in a message to be sent created by a web mail realized by a mail creation unit 101, an erroneous transmission prevention processing unit 102 of a mail transmission terminal 10 generates a first display on which a first display component including a name corresponding to a link destination indicated by the link information is displayed on a terminal running a web browser using web mail in a display mode that can be changed by an operation on the link destination.
