Abstract:
This electromagnetic contactor comprises: a case (3) that houses a contact portion (6) having a movable contact (15a), (15b) and a fixed contact (13a), (13b) in an arc-extinguishing chamber (12); and an arc-extinguishing cover (7) that covers the arc-extinguishing chamber and is attached to the case (3). In the arc-extinguishing cover, a first engagement portion (27), (32) and a second engagement portion (26), (31) are formed to be separated from each other in the direction of attachment to the case. In the case, a third engagement portion (36) and a fourth engagement portion (35) are formed. The arc-extinguishing cover is attached to the case in a first engagement state in which the first engagement portion and the third engagement portion engage with each other. Further, the arc-extinguishing cover is attached to the case with a gap provided therebetween in a second engagement state in which the second engagement portion and the fourth engagement portion engage with each other.
