Abstract:
To provide a crack detection method, a crack detection device, and a program that can detect and output a crack on a pixel-by-pixel basis, and detect and output cracks having relationship that can be determined to be a continuous crack by nature as cracks with the same label.SOLUTION: A crack detection method includes the steps of input image creation, wavelet image creation, binarized image creation, crack image creation, and segmentation image creation. The segmentation image creation step includes: an endpoint-to-endpoint distance identifying step of identifying an endpoint-to-endpoint distance between endpoints of cracks that are separated from each other; a determination step of determining that two cracks are a continuous crack by nature and cracks of the same label when the distance between the endpoints is equal to or less than a threshold value; and a drawing step of creating a segmentation image by connecting the endpoints of the two cracks determined to be the cracks with the same label.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
