Abstract:
A device for producing separation films for print reproduction of positive or negative originals comprises a device for illuminating the originals, a scanner, a digital colour processor, and a unit for producing separation films. In prior art devices, the colour processor must be adjusted separately for each original. To facilitate operation, the invention provides an adjusting device for adjusting the brightness and/or colour values of the device for illuminating the originals. The adjustment values obtained by observing a video monitor are used to produce the separation films.
