Abstract:
PURPOSE:To avoid abnormal stop of a compressor by reducing evaporating capacity of a whole air conditioner and to extend a continuous operation range by reducing the evaporation capacity of the whole air conditioner when both heat accumulation medium temperature and the atmospheric air temperature are respectively raised to predetermined set values or more. CONSTITUTION:If balance of evaporating capacity and condensing capacity is collapsed due to an increase in cold accumulation capacity owing to the rise of heat accumulation medium temperature in a heat accumulation tank 11 to be detected by heat accumulation medium temperature detecting means Thw at the time of cold storage and room cooling operation of an air conditioner, and a reduction in the capacity of a heat source side heat exchanger 3 owing to a rise of the atmospheric air temperature to be detected by atmospheric air temperature detecting means Tha so that the condensing capacity becomes insufficient with the result that there is a fear of abnormal stop of a compressor 1 due to an excess rise of high pressure, a user side heat exchanger 7 is so controlled as to be forcibly thermally interrupted by operation control means. Accordingly, it is corrected in a direction for recovering the balance of the capacities by reducing the evaporating capacity to prevent the abnormal stop of the compressor 1 due to an excess rise of the high pressure. Therefore, a continuous operation range can be extended.
