New acyclic peptides with natriuretic effect have general formula: R<1>-CO-A-B-D-E-G-R<2>, in which A, B, D, E, G, R<1> and R<2> have the meanings given in the description. Also disclosed is a process for producing the same and their use in drugs, in particular as antihypertensive agents.
