Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain 2,2-bis(3,5-dibromo-4-dibromopropoxyphenyl)propane having large particle diameter with good physical properties of powder and provide an industrial producing method of the compound.
CONSTITUTION: This 2,2-bis(3,5-dibromo-4-dibromopropoxyphenyl)propane having large particle diameter has average particle diameter larger than 1mm. The method for producing the 2,2-bis(3,5-dibromo-4-dibromopropoxyphenyl)propane having large particle diameter is to add good solvent solution of 2,2-bis(3,5- dibromo-4-dibromopropoxyphenyl)propane to heated methanol in the presence of seed crystals and distill the good solvent away and crystallize the objective compound.
