Abstract:
The present invention provides an AGV charging method for automated container terminal and an AGV charging system for automated container terminal, comprising: determining a power range that a current power belongs to during one AGV operation; if it is determined that the current power belongs to the first power range, the AGV is operated in a normal operation and implemented a periodic charging during an operation in a sea-side interactive operation area of the container yard; if it is determined that the current power belongs to the second power range, the AGV is operated in a normal operation and then guided to drive to a set position for charging when the normal operation is completed; if it is determined that the current power belongs to the third power range, the AGV is guided to drive to a set position for charging; wherein the first power range is higher than the second power range and the second power range is higher than the third power range. The present invention performs a varied charging strategy on the basis of the determined power range, with an aim at maintaining the battery at a shallow charge and shallow discharge state so as to extent the battery life.
