Abstract:
To provide an absorbent article which is easily bent in the width direction and has excellent migration properties of liquids from a surface sheet to an absorber.
The absorbent article 1 includes the surface sheet 10 alternately including ridge parts 20 and groove parts 30 respectively extending in the longitudinal direction. In the ridge part 30, a plurality of depressed parts 22 extending in the width direction of the article 1 are formed intermittently along the longitudinal direction of the article 1. A depth (D2) of the depressed part 22 from the top of the ridge in the direction of a thickness of the sheet is more than half of a thickness (D1) of the surface sheet 10 in the ridge part 20.
