Abstract:
To provide an active sludge treatment method of an aqueous ammonia, capable of reducing COD concentration in an aqueous ammonia which is used in production of coke from a coal containing high amount of a powdered coal as a raw material.SOLUTION: The active sludge treatment method of an aqueous ammonia used in production of coke from a coal containing 5-20 mass% of a coal powder with a size of under 0.03 mm as a raw material includes: a step of reducing oils and tars involved in the aqueous ammonia to 80 ppm or under; and a step of active sludge treatment of an aqueous ammonia whose oil and tar contents have been reduced by using an active sludge treatment tank 22 having a light source 24 arranged in a tank wall 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
