Abstract:
To provide an article conveyance facility capable of appropriately sorting articles to a plurality of conveyance destinations regardless of an appearance of the article and a storage state of the articles in a container.SOLUTION: The article conveyance facility comprises: an automated warehouse 1 for storing a container C in which a plurality of articles W are stored; a takeout device 2 for taking out the plurality of articles W from the container C delivered from the automated warehouse 1; and a sorting device 3 for sorting the plurality of articles W taken out by the takeout device 2 into respective conveyance destinations. The takeout device 2 comprises a takeout part 46 which takes out the plurality of articles W stored in the container C together, and an aligning conveying part 47 which aligns the plurality of articles W taken out by the takeout part 46 while conveying them toward the sorting device 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
