Abstract:
PURPOSE: To remove a phosphorus in a biologically treated water at high speed and to recover the phosphorus as resources by adding particulates of aluminum hydroxide or iron hydroxide to the biologically treated water of an org. sewage, then supplying the water to a filter layer.
CONSTITUTION: The biologically treated water (raw water) containing SS and the phosphorus originated from a flowing water sludge and a stripped biological membrane passed through a biological treating process such as an activated sludge treatment of sewerage is flowed into a filter device 2 to remove the SS by a filter layer B. Then, particulates (phosphorus removing agent) 4 of the iron hydroxide or the aluminum hydroxide are injected from an injecting pipe 17 and the raw water injected with the particulates 4 is passed through a filter layer A by ascending stream to adsorption-remove the phosphorus. As a result, a washing waste water of the filter layer A containing in high concn. the phosphorus removing agent 4 on which the phosphorus is adsorbed is flowed into a washing waste water storage tank 7. NaOH aq. soln. 8 is added to the storage tank 7 and the soln. is stirred to adjust pH and the phosphorus is eluted from the phosphorus removing agent 4. In this way, the phosphorus in the raw water is removed at high speed and recovered as the resources.
