To obtain an aerosol composition scarcely causing fluid dripping in an aerosol-type antiphlogistic analgesic, and to obtain an aerosol preparation prepared using the composition, capable of easily identifying a diseased part on which a contact-type preparation directly brought into contact with the diseased part is applied, at the same time, capable of safely and accurately applying only on the diseased parts of shoulders, arms, and the like, on which a nonsteroidal antiphlogistic analgesic should be applied, and able to suppress the scattering of the agent to eyes, the oral cavity, or the like.

A nonsteroidal antiphlogistic analgesic-containing aerosol composition comprising a stock solution containing 0.1-3 wt.% of a nonsteroidal antiphlogistic analgesic and 30-95 wt.% of a monovalent alcohol of a 1-4C linear alcohol optionally substituted with a phenyl group, and a propellant consisting of a liquefied gas, wherein the weight ratio (stock solution/propellant) is 10/90 to 50/50.
