To provide an affiliate system capable of improving the whole service of the affiliate system by efficiently and adequately performing the payment of affiliate compensation to an affiliator so as to raise the motivation of the affiliator to promote sales and to participate in an EC market.
The affiliate system includes: an exchange setting database which includes a first settlement state for automatically performing exchange into electronic money when affiliate compensation is generated and a second state for automatically performing exchange into electronic money when prescribed time elapses, as states for settling the payment of the affiliate compensation by paying the electronic money, and stores the first or second settlement state, which is predetermined by the affiliator, in association with an affiliate ID; and a compensation exchange processing means for automatically performing settlement processing to exchange the affiliate compensation into the electronic money, via an electronic money processing system, based on the first or second settlement state stored in the exchange setting database.
