Abstract:
To provide an agitator for a decomposition tank which can supply oxygen effectively to aerobic bacteria capable of degrading excess sludge by agitating colonies, which are provided on a truck 4 movable in an anteroposterior direction on a fermentation tank 2 and are introduced into the fermentation decomposition tank 2, in such a manner that vertical changeover is possible.
Sprockets 16, 17 are respectively provided on a vertically arranged drive shaft 13 and a slave shaft 14. The agitator 20 is provided in an end-free actuating chain 18 wound between the sprockets 16, 17, whereby the colonies can be agitated in a vertical changeover manner by vertically circulating and moving the agitator 20 upon drive and rotation of the drive shaft 13.
