PURPOSE: An agricultural chemical composition, containing an insecticidal or germicidal component substance placed stably between layer lattices of a clay mineral of the montmorillonite group, and having improved surface diffusivity, adhesion and fixing properties.
CONSTITUTION: An agricultural chemical composition containing 0.005W0.01mol insecticidal or germicidal component substance placed stably between layer lattices of 10g clay mineral of the montmorillonite group, e.g. montmorillonite, hectorite or bentonite. The above-mentioned agricultural chemical composition is directly used if the insecticidal or germicidal component substance is liquid, or dissolved suitably in a solvent to form a liquid. The clay mineral and water are added to the liquid, and stirred in a high-speed stirrer, e.g. a homomixer, to give a gelatinous water-soluble or water-microdispersible material. In use, the composition is suitably diluted with water, according to the purpose and used by sprinkling, etc.
