Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make unnecessary to convert a sewing machine jig, to eliminate a fear of a sudden rising of rigidity at the outermost position of reinforcing cloths, to eliminate a fear of concentration of load to a main base cloth at the outermost position of the reinforcing cloths, to improve the pressure-resisting strength, and to improve the manufacturing efficiency.
SOLUTION: An air bag main body 21 is formed by sewing main base cloths 22 and 23, and plural reinforcing cloths 27, 28, 29 with almost the same outer form. The plural reinforcing cloths 27, 28, and 29 are sewn to the rear side of the base cloth 23 through at least plural inner and outer sewing lines 31, 32, and 33. At least to one sheet of reinforcing cloths 28 or 29 of the plural sheets of reinforcing cloths 27, 28, and 29, a fragile part 35 is formed. The fragile part 35 is formed between the inner sewing line 31 and the outer sewing line 33.
