Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a direct flash memory access system which can write the data into a flash memory that is controlled by a CPU based on a specific algorithm and with no intervention of the CPU.
CONSTITUTION: This memory access system includes a DMA(direct memory access) controller, 2 which is started by a DMARQ(direct memory access request) signal 11 and directly sends the write address of a flash memory 6 to this memory regardless of the presence of a CPU 1, and a flash memory data generator 5 which generates the data accordant with the algorithm of the memory 6 in response to the signal 11 and sends the data to the memory 6, and the memory 6 stores the data accordant with the algorithm of the memory 6 received from the generator 5 into the write address received from the controller 2.
