Title:
AIR CLEANING DEVICE AND OZONE DETECTION SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3462942
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent ozone from being unexpectedly discharged to the atmosphere in a high concentration state, regardless of a drop in the function of an ozone decomposing catalyst, by applying the constitution that ozone generated with an ozone generator is added to the air in an ozone chamber, and the air is thereby deodorized and disinfected.
SOLUTION: The air in a room is lessened in the amount of rough particles through a prefilter 21 and drawn toward ozone chambers 31 and 32 via an intake port 11. In this case, the air passes an ozone generator 35 and ozone is added thereto. Thus, an odor component contained in the air flows into the first ozone chamber 31, together with the added ozone, and is treated with the first filter 33. Then, the odor component flows into the second ozone chamber 32 and is treated with the second filter 34. Thereafter, the air is discharged from an exhaust port 12 to the room via an air supply means 22. in this case, the air is deodorized and disinfected via the catalytic reaction of the first and the second filters 31 and 32.
